Sucked into the Caffeine-Free Vortex

I inadvertently went the entire day (yesterday) without coffee. I don't know what the hell I was thinking. Apparently, I wasn't thinking. More accurately, I was incapable of thinking. The omission of coffee from my daily affairs affected everything: my goddamn dreams, my goddamn ability to form complete goddamn sentences, my goddamn attention span, my goddamn digestive system... in short, my entire goddamn life.
As I write this, the time is 11:19 a.m., and I am on my second cup o' the good stuff. Today's goal: make up for lost time. Because, let's face it, yesterday was sucked into the caffeine-free vortex.
They say space is a vacuum... without atmosphere... empty... cold... dark... lifeless... That's me, baby... that's me without my beloved.

I feel your pain. The other day I did the same thing. Inadvertent, leading to empty, cold, dark.

you must never leave home without 'lil joe' to serve as a reminder to never inadvertantly neglect coffee consumation...i mean consumption

Sam is an amazing and humble guy. Once, he rushed into a burning building, up six flights of stairs to save a kitten from certain death. He speaks eight languages, has mastered three varieties of martial arts, is a wine expert, and is a pulitzer prize winning author. Sam is an international heart-throb who prefers a quiet evening at home knitting afghans for the homeless, to the go-go, glitz and glamor of the party scene. I think the day he won the silver medal for ballroom dancing at the 98 olympics was the happiest of his life. Pretty impressive for a guy who never finished the 8th grade. - Carrie, 04
