no no...Anne Geddes is definitely not art. i cant believe it took you so long to figure that out.
However D.T. has a new song you can download off the upcoming album. that's art.
also, i'm counting on you to scourge the torrents and find a leak of said record.

Hear hear! It's not a real New England winter until we get a school closing, and I'm rooting for a blizzard, if possible. On a Monday.

Its a proven fact by the ICR (institute of coffee research), that the more cups of coffee you drink in a day, the better your day is. Also! 9 out of 10 surgeon generals would agree that if you smoke a cigarette with that cup of coffee, your "day great-ness" increases exponentially... …possibly because your life shortens… …no more like probably.
Wow that was depressing…
Time to drink some coffee.

Dood, this is indeed one odd winter.
Personally, I wouldn't mind a little more snow, or cold for that matter. We'll probably get hammered soon and yearn menacingly (yep, dunno, but you will) for those yesterdays of warm, balmy, snow-free January days.
However, that could be in June.

First off: Holy Crap, that was a slow transfer to this page. Seems like old blogger is cranky still.
Secondly: Yep. You really hit that on the head, eh? LOL. Well, don't put too much blame on yourself, as Apple kept it secret and even squashed rumors of such silliness.
Here is an outline of their sneakiness. Sneaky Applessess!

That's a great story. Co-incidentally, over here in the UK, my daughters made a film at an abandoned mental hospital which won a prize! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5ozNtVrQd0
You guys gotta go back. We need to see pics of the cafeteria, the chapel/theater, the room with the dentists chair and all the stuff your other commenters saw! :-)

Cool, I visited the abandoned asylum twice in 1990 but I never had any pictures. Just Googled it and came up with your post. One thing you don't get a sense of here is the immensity of this place. I've explored for hours and only covered a fraction of the building. I remember a cafeteria, a chapel/theater, a room with a dentist chair, catwalks, storage rooms full of slot machines(?) and a large incinerator.
At one point my 2 companions and I were in the basement (it must not have been quite as dark as the section you were in). We were all wandering off investigation various things when someone started whistling. For a moment we each assumed it was just one of us but then we all turned, looked at each other and realized that none of us were whistling. We panicked and ran like hell, upstairs and out of the building.

ok i really need a lot of help here. I have a mac os x. I need Adobe Photoshop CS 2. The Full Version. I have surfed countless fo forums & blogs about how to crack trought from Tryout Version to Full. I have tried everything i could find from Spacemonkey to toying with the Adobe Registration Database to deleting things adn the list goes on. Whenever i do manage to get to A Personel Autho. Page asking for a SIN. nothing seems to function. Could someone please help me i would greatly appreciate it. Perhaps even a step by step. And i prefer not to leave my computer on for 65 days trying to download a bittorrent of 5 CDs of the Full Version of PSD CS2 if you get my drift thanks.

Pimp!
I was getting the SpaceMonkey splash screen, and was being told my registration/serial was invalid, but your suggested fix seems to have done the job.
I went into the "Adobe Registration Database" file (located exactly where described in previous post) - near the very top was a blank EPIC_ORG and EPIC_NAME... I filled both of these in, and now Photoshop loads regular.
thanks guys!

As for explaining it to other people... after they glaze over, I usually resort to my old standby, which I've been using for years:
I work with computers.

I'd like to thank you for the great idea to make the MacBook sleeve. I was looking for a durable sleeve online and they all were too bulky or ugly, but yours looked awesome! I bought fabric for $5 CND (which is probably cheaper than a pair of pants) and got to work. A weekend later...a very snazzy case! One thing I did was I left the excess fabric on the seems on, which makes some padding around it so it absorbs some of the bumps and stuff.
If you want to check out some pictures of it there are some on my website:

Okay okay... so essentially, I'm learning about interactive spaces. But it's more than that. It's about understanding and developing the layers of interactivity in social software systems... what works within those constructs and why. It is about the internet, it's about blogging, it's about wikis... it's about pushing this relatively new medium in unexpected directions. It's about the limitless potential of information interaction. It's about the future.
(And also, to a somewhat lesser degree, yet not insignificant by any means, it's about skipping out on the real world for just that much longer. God, I love being a grad student.)
But truly, I do feel passionately about my program. It's an exciting time to be studying such exciting things.

My main drive (which is in two partitions) failed on boot one day. Fortunately I've got another hard drive in the G4 tower. So I botted from there. Only problem is that a legit Photoshop install is on the non-boot drive now and on launch I get the Space Monkey.
I moved all the application support files over so they're living on the boot drive and that got rid of the Space Monkey but I can't get the app itself to perform as expected. I'll try moving the application itself and see.
